Cabin fever can cause sleepiness, sleeplessness, anxiety, loneliness or moodiness.
The current pandemic has caused many people to feel more isolated or alone. Although being in a cabin near the lake sounds like heaven to me, I’d imagine I might become a little lonely after about a week.
Symptoms for cabin fever can vary. If your symptoms are somewhat mild, taking intentional steps to combat your emotions may be enough to help you alleviate some feelings.
Regardless of your feelings, they’re neither good nor bad. What you do about your feelings is the crucial part. Ignoring any feelings is unhealthy.
Sometimes reading a book or some articles, playing games on your phone, watching television, or talking to family on Face Time can help, but getting up and spending some time outside can be the best solution.
