Divorce indeed forces children to grow up fast!!! Nowadays, single motherhood exists even more so and not only from divorce but a lack of commitment through marriage!!! I also come from a divorced family life!!! I'm not sure which is more challenging. Divorce or no marriage! During the past 50 years, marriages in the U.S. has declined by nearly 60%.
