Establishing Work Wasn’t Meant To Inflate Egos

Some people attach themselves to their job title like it’s a nameplate for their being. They sell their entire soul for their work while forgetting there’s more to life. Their ego distorts the way God intended work to be. They lose a part of themselves along with other relationships.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t do a great job no matter what your work requires, but how do you treat your coworkers or family? Are you burnt out from the stress of your job? Has your ego told you that you are your job title but forgot to mention anything about serving others? People should be your number one job.

Work

Isn’t work anything that involves serving others? The most challenging job is serving with a heart of pure kindness and joy.

When you get so wrapped up in your title, you lose a part of yourself. I feel the part that gets lost is usually the part designed to give to others.
