I have set a goal to write every day. I might be stretching myself thin, but I’m determined. Regardless, it’s always a challenge to balance home, work, and plain old life while taking care of my mom and grandson. Although neither is a full-time job, life is constantly pulling me in many directions. Additionally, high school is starting on Wednesday for my son. There is always something demanding my attention.

Nurturing a passion such as writing is a necessity that I desire for myself. If we don’t set intentions or goals for our days, others will demand more and more from us. It can get a little bit crazy at times. Yet, if I don’t write, I feel like a tea kettle ready to blow.
