However, this sounds sweet to gift your family member a cat. Were you going to ask them if they wanted a pet first? What if they are not up for feeding and cleaning the liter? What if they would rather have a dog? 🤷‍♀️ Pets take a lot of work. What if your family member just doesn’t have the energy to care for the pet?
