I will never forget the roller coaster ride my sister-in-law and I went on.
She talked me into it! I never knew it would be our first and last roller coaster together. She passed away fourteen years ago on March 31st.
Our emotions in a day are very much like being on a roller coaster ride. The seasons in life can feel much the same. We will never be sure when we wake up what our day will bring, but we must choose to wake up again and give it our best shot. I begin each morning with a one-minute smile signaling to my body that I’m happy!
I have been waiting for a breakthrough in my husband’s job. He has a job but has been waiting for an opportunity to arrive within his field. He’s in graphic arts and has been out of his field for over two and a half years.
We have been waiting to get on with our lives after cancer but have been waiting for a shift in my husband’s career. I’m ready to put my hands up and finally surrender this burden and start truly living again!
