Kittens born in straw
snuggled up in a manger
memories are gifts

Sharing a memory during the season is a gift. What is your most cherished memory about the holidays?

One of my fondest memories would have to be a story about our kittens while growing up. During the summertime ages ago, one of our cats led my sister and our friend into a barn near our house. We followed her while sneaking inside.

It turned out that our town’s Christmas Nativity was stored there. It was a little creepy, okay, a lot bizarre, seeing it in the dark while trespassing. Regardless, our cat climbed right up into the manger, and to our surprise, she had given birth to a litter of kittens! It was the most colorful bunch of kittens we had ever had.

Our town still puts up the nativity until this day. It brings back such sweet memories of our cats and kittens while growing up.

A story about our cat, Shadow, who started our whole generation of cats:

Happy Holidays! Won’t you please share a memory this year with someone you love?
