Pausing in the Garden of Hope

Stopping excessive doubt in its tracks

A prayer can be a request for help or a way to express gratitude to God or your Creator. Prayer can bring hope in the most desperate of times.

A prayer journal can be just the thing to refresh your soul even in challenging times. Pausing in the moment of a painful feeling can seem impossible, but practice makes it possible.

Anger is a symptom of anxiety. When I’m angry, my vision becomes unclear. I get caught up in the moment, and using self-control is not always easy.

As for some feelings, I can pause much easier. Pausing has become a practice of mine through spending moments in my prayer journal.

I’m never proud when I let anger get the best of me. If left untamed, it continually festers into doubt, worry and hopelessness.
