The rain was alright

On our Summer Camping jaunt

I brought my rain boots

For some, the rain could be a game stopper, but as for my husband and me, it was okay. We just wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Sometimes we just need to stop and smell the wildflowers and be thankful for whatever life brings our way.

We had shelter, food, drinks, and each other. I had everything I needed, including my rain boots and umbrella, so I thought.

Hey, we even had a fire!

Unfortunately, by day two, after dinner, we had to call it quits. Severe storms were becoming challenging.

Here we go again, being thankful for whatever life brings our way. Still, it’s okay to be disappointed, and sometimes even rain boots, and an umbrella just aren’t enough. Nonetheless, my bed never felt so favorable.

How might you roll with the punches a little better the next time life brings you a challenge?
