Summer night gazing

Searching for Constellations

In the skyward stars

When is the last time you were stargazing? There is just something about the darkness of the sky as these faraway stars come into view.

Slowing down while looking up at the stars takes your attention immediately to the here and now. Your troubles can seem to fade into the night sky.

Like a black hole eating up all of your troubles, anxieties, and uncertainties, one by one, they dwindle. Stargazing is a perfect time to put any concerns into prayer if they should happen to arise.

Perhaps praying every evening upon the first star you notice can be the perfect ending to your day.

Might you pray upon your subsequent star encounter?
