When My Grandma Died The Earth Shed Snowflake Tears

I can still remember feeling my grandma’s beautiful warm skin turn cold as she drains of color. Ultimately her love lit up the room. We wrapped her in white warming blankets like a newborn. Her aura was full of mystical magnetic light. She looked like an angel to me.
Preparation
It’s been almost eleven years since my grandma passed on. The Christmas season was in full swing, and good cheer was in the air. There was little preparing my grandma or our family for that cold, snowy day in December.
Sadly, my grandma had been in and out of the hospital and nursing home for about three months. The responsibility of juggling home life while visiting my grandma was becoming stressful. However, it was a challenge I am forever grateful to have had in looking back. It allowed us time in her last days to be closer than ever.
