“The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals.”

– Melody Beattie

Do you usually make New Year’s resolutions?

We shouldn’t wait until 12:01 am on New Year’s to make a goal if any cocktails will be occurring. Alcohol can give us a heightened sense of reality causing our goals to be too big.

Most people give up too easily. How will you beat the majority?

Reasons people give up:

  • Too high expectations
  • Too easily discouraged
  • Too little time
  • Too little money
  • Too little motivation

It sounds like too many excuses. How will you eliminate any excuses and execute the objectives?

What is your New Year’s resolution, and why? What might be the most challenging part of your new goal?
