“I love whimsical things and forests. I’m really into all that.”

A cloud is not light! Although a cloud appears to be whimsical, it’s heavy!

According to science, by multiplying the volume of a cloud by the density, you can discover that a cumulus cloud can contain as much as 1.1 million pounds.

What makes these mystical clouds so heavy? Water and ice droplets.

It’s comparable to the weight of five adult blue whales! Isn’t that mind-blowing?

Cloud watching is astounding. It’s one of my favorite things to do with my grandson. We’ve seen “Lions & Tigers & Bears, oh my!”

I feel like a three-year-old with tons of questions this week! How do airplanes hold up with the weight of the clouds? What’s the first question that comes to your mind?
