Why Is the Sky Blue?

Cloud-watching against a tranquil blue backdrop is one of my favorite pastimes. Being in nature is a dose of love.

The sky is blue because of a phenomenon called Raleigh scattering.

We see blue because of the scattering of electromagnetic radiation. The short light wavelengths hug the small particles in the air, which love on the blue tones.

The sky can lure us to a trance-like state. Do you have a favorite place for sky gazing while cloud contemplating? Or daydreaming?

My mother-in-law passed away on my birthday. She loved butterflies and nature. The sky provides much comfort:
