Chocolates Part Three: More Chocolate. Please!

All kidding aside, by now most of you know that I’m a breast cancer survivor. I am not the same person on the inside, and my outward appearance has changed drastically.

I have been struggling with my weight since my diagnosis in August 2019. Don’t get me wrong, there have been other times in my life as well.

I’m trying to rule out hormonal imbalance right now because there seems to be no easy fix. The truth is, could it be I’m trying to use it as an excuse?

It dawned on me that I’m not a genius when it comes to math — or self-control for that matter. I seem to have miscalculated the 20 percent rule: when you eat healthy 80 percent of the time and indulge during the other 20 percent.

Does that apply to daily, weekly, or yearly? Here’s what I do know: It doesn’t mean to eat 20 percent of the box of chocolates in one…
